Vintage Squares

A quick post this morning, I finally finished every bit of wool I had for the granny squares was rather hoping to be able to make two blankets. There's only enough for one though and maybe a cushion.
This was the easy bit the hard bit will putting them together.
I've also finished a Monkey from the Edward Menagerie book, I do have a problem my crochet gets twisted not sure if thats because I hold the wool like I'm knitting or if I'm doing something else wrong. My DD thinks he looks cute will photo him today since I finished him last night and it was too dark.

ooh, I am sure this will look fabulous when it's done ! I have made a couple of crochet scarves, but not sure I could do anything as fancy as this, I am going to have a go tho, I would love to make a crochet sock monkey :-)

These squares are beautiful Debby and will look forward to seeing the finished results. I have been inspired to make a throw for the living room using tbe ripple pattern and five different colours and am about half way through. I have bought some extra yarn and think I might supplement with some different colours and try some squares too. x

Love your colour mix on your squares Debby, so neat too, I'm sure they'll look fabulous when they all become a blanket, I agree, that is the worst part, I can sit and do any amount of squares put putting them together is another thing, do show us when it's done.
