Snowed in

I wanted this Stampendous stamp last Christmas and managed to get my hands on one soon after Christmas so a bit late to use but it does mean I get to use it for this year.
I used the Smoked Slate inkpad from Stamping Up and I stamped it twice on linen card which why you get the uneven stamping.  The Spellbinders I used could be Romantic Rectangle but I'm not sure but the poinsettia is a spellbinder.
A bit of twine before I layered the house oval, the touch of red of bringing it alive.
A successful day now I've only a couple of cards to make instead of six and now I'm thinking maybe I can sneak in some cardmaking time just for fun.

Snap on that card Debby and needless to say I've not even got it out. Yours looks very effective with the slightly lighter colour ink.

Oh Debby! I am so glad you made this particular card. It is fantastic!
I have been eying up that stampevery time I go to Michaels in Bellingham, USA. I have a coupon for 40% off but I always have wondered if it would look too dark.
The lighter ink you chose is so perfect for this. I love how you did the popped forward train!

Beautiful card. Love the little 'pop' of red but having trouble finding bakers twine with a nice bright white background. Could I ask what brand you used?
