Retirement

My Hubby rarely asks me to make a card  but a work colleague was retiring and he need a large card for everyon to sign. In fact its two pieces of A4 joined together the reason for the border at the top.
One of the specs was to use this photo, I've hidden his face cos I don't have his permission to post it.
Once I saw the Just Inklined wellies I knew I had to use them but originally I couldn't find a gardener but after the images were coloured I then found the Gardener Gus at Dr Digi's who was perfect.
Not knowing how to make a card with a huge photo I left it fairly simply using Stampin Paper I have.

This was the image I found before Gus, Reg Butterthwaite from Just Inklined, had to use him somewhere so added him to the inside.
Hubby was pleased and I think his work mates were too, just hope it doesn't happen again not very good with commissioned cards.

I know what you mean about commissioned cards - I don't like making them either - but I think you've done a great job!

Brilliant Debby! Also so funny as I have a couple of retirement cards to make for the same chap - one would be bad enough, banging my head on the desk at the thought of two!!

You did it just perfectly - bet it made the recipient really smile :))

Hugs, Di xx
