Bunny card

Just a little quick card that I'm so not impressed with, told you Mr Mojo had disappeared again. I think my problem I don't like my butterfly and I lost interest and I didn't want to add white flowers again since I had made loads of white cards.
Now looking at it I wish I had so I may make some when I get back from our New Year celebration trip.
Hopefully I will feel like making cards when I get back since I'm finding it hard to do so, not sure if that's cos I've had a few bad days or that secret project is taking over my life, I have 16 weeks and ten squares.

Nearly time for Valentine

Now you may think this is a digi image from Mo Manning and you will be right but its also one of the new Penny Black Clings for spring called Ragged Romeo. If like me you use digi you can find them here.
Or if you printer smudges how about the stamp here.
The papers are pebbles and the flowers are a Simon Says Stamps exclusive die but the leaves are Memory Box.
I've kept it quite simple cos the image is quite big and the papers are fairly busy and I've lost Mr Mojo again. He pops in for five minutes and then disappears again.

A shade of Grey

No not that Shade of Grey but the shade of grey from a couple of the papers from Echo Park's Winter Wishes with a just a taste of blue and quite a bit of white.
I really have been bad this year and not used the gorgeous snow border from Memory Box but I really must try a resist adding hundreds of pearls as well as glitter.
The beautiful image is Sarah Kay and her coat cried out for a bit of flower soft and fun flock. The snowflakes are MFT and yes I've sneaked it the fabulous Crochet border from MFT again. Well at least I've started on next years Christmas cards already.

Time for a Brew

I need to edge myself back to card making again so what better challenge than Less is More for the next couple of weeks they're doing drinking.
What came to mind was the fabulous Teacup and word set from MFT. So I used a Memory Box sheet of patterned paper and actually gutted the middle cos I only had the one sheet of 6 inches and I wanted use it for the teapot and teacup as well as a mat.
Some scraps of yellow to contrast and I used the Stamping up stamp for the steam which I am so pleased I pulled off the cup after sticking it to put stamp it on, worked a treat.
Another scrap of the patterned paper and using a square punch to make the bunting and then the sentiment came out of the MFT set but I cut it 9mm  wide so I could use the word punch from Stamping Up.

Favourite Mo Card

Since I can't enter Mo's challenge of your favourite Mo card of 2012 cos I'm on Mo's Dream Team I thought I would show my second favourite of 2012 cos the first is on my favourite Five. But this gives me the extra opportunity to show off another favourite card.
I'm really pleased too that Mo has added this full figure Fairy 3 into her new shop and you will find her here.
Well hope you all had a fabulous Christmas. I now have some quilting books just need to get some fat quarters and I've also got another magnet Artbin so I can organise my Spellbinders into one.
Today I'm having a quiet day with everyone back to work need to make sure I'm on top form for the New Year celebrations this year in Bath.

Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog

So if you're fed up with the Turkey Simon says Stamps Challenge has a new challenge today
of
 Anything Goes

And the team is showing the creations they made for one of the team and we had to include twine but thats not a requirement for the challenge.

I made a Book Card unfortunately not everything I brought for the gift fitted inside so it just got put along with the card in the parcel. I've used a fabulous Penny Black cling stamp Little Elf Mim  and those gorgeous Echo Park Winter Wishes papers probably a good job I brought two. I've also use the Spellbinders Floral Oval not that you can miss it and the Martha Stewart Glacial Snowflake punch along with an awful lot of glitter. The sentiment is the the Simon Says Stamps Holiday Labels.
Here's the inside with poem inside.

And using another Spellbinder shape I've made a place to write your Christmas Wishes. I was just going to wrap it up ready for the Postman to fly across the ocean when I realised I was suppose to use twine!!!!!!!!!!
So with a little twinking I managed to get a bit of Hemptique Aquamarine from the bauble, through Mim's hands so it looks like that the elf is holding on, PHEW.

Now you know the drill to win the chance of this fabulous prize you have to enter the challenge with a new card no backlinking and you need to enter your post using the linky thing on the challenge blog.

The last of the Wedding Scrapbooking

While waitning for the new Simon Says Stamps Challenge here are the last few pages of Lou's Wedding Album although now looking at this page I meant to add a title but not sure that it will ruin it .

A very special layout and the butterflies are Memory Box.

The candle is in a glass hurricane style vase which I use every year at Christmas.

Those rolled ribbon roses found themselves in the bin but were rescued by Rachel at MJ's crop and informed me there is nothing wrong with them and forced a promise to use them. So the roses spent a month under something very heavy before I got round to finish the layout and I put my hand up and say she's right.
The next project is Journalling my Christmas and its nearly the end of December and I haven't started yet.

My Five Favourite Christmas Cards

It's finally here Christmas Eve.

The first is a Mo Manning card of that gorgeous Winter Fairy Talva the original post is here
My second in no particular order is these fabulous snowflakes from Memory Box,
you will find the post here.
Originally made for the Less is More challenge but love the Penny Black Stamp

I knew everyone would love this Magnolia image, find the post here.

There had to be a cute Penny Black card somewhere, find the post here
Ok I know this is the sixth card but somehow I couldn't leave this one out cos I was so pleased how it turned out especially I had carried the idea in my head for several days before it was made, you can find the original post here.

So here's the Christmas candy, you know I love Mo's images and Penny Black so the stamp ticked both boxes. The snowflake is the one I used in my card above obviously a new one. I've also added some fun flock and flower soft which I use for snow and fluffy clothes.
So all you have to do is to use Mr Linky to your Favourite Five Christmas Cards to be in with a chance for the candy. You have till Sunday 30th December.

Waiting for Rain

Not a case of waiting for rain its seems the UK has abundance of it but that is what this cute little darling is called. I decided I needed a fresh image to help Mr Mojo to return he did but it seems only for this card. You can get her here.
I paper pieced her rainwear which is always great fun to do.
I felt she needed to have something to look out which is why I used the memory box clouds.
The swirl is a Simon Says Stamps Exclusive and the flowers are punches. A little bit of lace and ribbon to finish.
Well the house is now a craft free zone and my craftroom is totally out of action but don't worry still have a few cards to show and not forget My Favourite Five Christmas Cards on Christmas Eve which I do hope you can join in with me.

Had a lovely evening with Verity and Chris who invited the family together so we would all meet before their wedding in May and what an amazing spread she made for us. But best of all was the ham she used the Gino's recipe and it was amazing, had to print off the recipe not when I shall give it a try or I might just hand a bit of Gammon to Verity and get her to cook it for me!

Ice and snow

Yes I'm still making Christmas cards have image coloured will use them so there may be a few more to come. Now since today is Saturday and I usually have a Penny Black card, well this little darling Winter Fairy Talva is also a Penny Black stamp drawn by the talented Mo Manning.
I understand the pain having a printer that smudges and for a long time I could only admire cards with digi images so having them in stamps is an added bonus.
Once again I've used the fabulous Echo Park Winter Wishes with the amazing Dee's Distinctly trees, alone with Memory box corners. The spellbinders Floral Oval works a treat and has got to be a best buy even though its not cheap.
Lots of glitter and pearls to finish.
Card making isn't working I think its a project that I'm doing that needs to be finish in 17 weeks and I'm doing an important bit but gosh its boring so I want it out of the way so I get to do the fun bit. So I'm moving my Craft Stuff out of the house well the bits that Hubby can see hopefully the rest is well hidden.

Another LIM

Decided to make a quick card for Less is More just in case my previous one is disallowed. So this time I stamped with silver ink and embossed with silver powder although the camera hates it. The greenish grey strip is actually silver thanks Mr Camera but you get the idea.

White Anniversary

I haven't joined in with Less is More for a couple of weeks now so I was determined to join in this week and the challenge is for a Anniversary card.
I tried my bes not to over do it, the card mats are just plain linen card and I left the main hearts plain and only embossed the on the heart centre. Just a sprig of fern, leaf and one flower with a sentiment but I still think it may be classed as too much.
Well only a couple days of crafting left before I have to tidy up my craftroom so I can collect my craft stuff around the house and put it in there so we can have a craft free home. As soon as Boxing day is over though I'll be bringing it back out.

Dream Team Blog Hop

Today is the last of Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop of 2012

I've been teasing Jane who has chosen the Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop theme of Clean and Simple that there was Snowflakes, ribbon and pattern paper on my card but I didn't tell  how much!
I used a punched snowflake as well as the Stampin Up snowflake and sentiment so that makes more than one Snowflake so thats Snowflakes ticked. The ribbon is the dotty stripe and the white square with the image is matted onto the Winter Wishes patterned paper.
My image is an absolutely brilliant one from Mo called Who Me! so I guess I get the last laugh. So hopefully you found me from Julie's Blog and you now have to Hop Skip and Jump to

Don't forget to comment on everyone's post cos theres
a couple of random vouchers to spend in Mo's shop to win
